Silent No More

This powerful black and white series was shot at the studio of Mark Ostow in Cambridge, MA, and features survivors and victims of domestic abuse, some of whom are featured in the documentary, “You Look A  Lot Like Me.”

Photographer Emily Hamm, and writer and producer, Chloé McFeters, who served as art director on the project, worked closely together to create an intimate environment in which each participant would feel emotionally open, safe, and valued.  The stories that were shared over the course of the three-day shoot were honest, courageous, heart-wrenching, and beautiful, and it was an honor to work with such amazing men and women on this project.

This project is ongoing.  If your gallery or organization would be interested in providing exhibition space for “Silent No More,” or if you are interested in learning more about this project, please contact Chloé McFeters at 617.820.6233 or via e-mail at chloe@tortoiseandfinch.com.
